Kitchen Surfers is a partnership of school mates, Joanne and Widya, both full-time working mums who love cooking for friends and families whenever they can
We love to cook and we believe everyone should know how to cook and prepare at least one meal which they will enjoy. Most of us know and believe that "we are what we eat" and so learning about what goes into your foods is important and often, you will find that making your own favourite dish isn't as hard as it looks and can at times be a therapeutic activity. We believe there is always a secret ingredient in every dish! ;) And we can only get better at cooking the more we do it.
As busy working mums ourselves, we are used to preparing quick hot meals using whatever we can find in the fridge and pantry. Our classes aim to meet different individual needs - budget meals, dishes for festivities/entertaining, finger foods/snacks, special cuisines, recognising Asian ingredients, etc. We run community classes and private classes, usually on Saturdays.
